This year 1049 children responded to the call for salvation! We were in touch with the local churches and had local pastors present during each outreach so that everyone could have a chance to connect with the local church.

The Gospel presentation:
The presentations were made entirely by national Christians (Africans). There were 8 actors who performed a dramatic representation of the Gospel in 6 acts:

1. Adam and Eve (original sin)
2. Sin scene (All have sinned and are condemned to death)
3. Christmas scene (God sent His Son)
4. Jesus Loves the World (He heals the sick)
5. Jesus Dies and Resurrects
6. Jesus offers eternal salvation

The drama was a mime set to original African music (recorded at the Hayslip’s house) and an original narration in the local language (Mooré ).
The drama was followed by testimonies by the actors and a call to salvation (except at the Islamic Orphanage). In the larger schools, each actor went to a different classroom each to present the Gospel and make a new call to salvation. In each case the children’s names that responded were taken for follow-up.
