It was an amazing time of ministry as saw entire villages and schools impacted through the drama presentation and handing out of gifts!

Village Impact

With over $37,000 raised this year we were able to expand our outreaches into the remote village regions outside of the city. We were blessed to have a short term team come over to help us distribute over 2,000 gifts for the village outreaches this year. With their help, we were able to visit over 15 villages and do over 19 outreaches!

Entire region of Wala was touched!

That day the entire group stood with hands raised and said in one voice— “Yes, we want to surrender our lives to follow Jesus!” Praise God!

Wala

At one particular village by the name of Wala, we set up our sound equipment and began to perform the drama depicting Christ's birth, death, and resurrection. The previous week had been filled with mixed response. At some schools, not a single kid would raise a hand; yet at others nearly half or more would raise their hands and choose to come forward to pray the prayer of salvation for the very first time. This morning, there was a change in the atmosphere as men, women, and children all began raising their hands. After a few moments of silence, I looked over and noticed that the village chief himself—with head bowed was raising his hand as well!!

A glimpse into the incredible impact that the outreaches had:

The power of prayer:

At most of the village outreaches, many of the Muslim men would show up in the traditional garb of a serious Muslim, a small cap and long robe. These men would sit together and watch us very carefully. During one of the outreaches, they actually all got up and went right next to us and performed their ritual prayers, at the exact time we were asking the children to receive Christ! Pastor Joseph continued to give the invitation to receive the Gospel without hesitation. After the Muslim men had finished their prayers, they returned to join the rest of the kids. God continued to touch these Muslim's hearts in unexpected ways. The Holy Spirit convicted and softened the hearts of these men, so that many of them even raised their hands to accept 'Nabe Issa' or 'the Prophet Jesus' as their Savior. Praise God!
