A HUGE thanks to all who gave!!

 

This year was a blast!!! With more than double the amount of gifts, nothing could have prepared us for what lay ahead for Give a Kid a Christmas 2006! With 67 people it took us aproxiamately 949 man hours to do the following:

We unpacked, unzipped, packed full of gifts, and then wrapped 4100 backpacks! Inside each backpack (2000 boy backpacks/2100 girl backpacks) we place the following:
- 4000 beach balls
- 4000 packs/hair extensions
- $1550 of candy (5000 bags filled)
- 2000 watches, finger nail polish, flutes, hand mirrors
- 2000 playing cards
- 100,000 marbles (we bagged them into 2000 bags)

But most importantly, they heard and understood the Good News. Many heard the Gospel for the very first time and over 1000 children responded at the call to salvation!
