Such a Wonderful Cruise

People have been asking how the cruise went, so I’m writing my very first blog about our wonderful 4-night Mexican cruise vacation on Royal Caribbean to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.
My (Heidi’s) parents watched Silas and my sister and her husband took Jakob since they have kids his age. So we were kid-less and carefree. Felt like we were kids on our honeymoon. At the San Diego stop we went to the famous San Diego zoo and since it was just perfect beautiful weather, all the animals were out and playing. Day 2 was Catalina Island where we went snorkeling (not scuba diving!). The water was freezing and kinda dark, but we had our wet suits on and saw tons of fish, so it was really fun. The Mexico stop we actually stayed on the boat and watched the shows, went on the rock climbing wall (fun!) and enjoyed the BBQ by the pool. We had a blast! Thanks to Mom and Dad for the best anniversary gift ever!
